I've never tried this myself but, it made a great deal of sense. I suppose I'll have to try it sometime.
I know many, that chum with range cubes and then come back and drop dough, punch or other baits.
I read (several years back) about this guy that takes the time to drill a hole (lengthwise) in a range cube so that his long shank hook will slip through it and then he ties his line on.
His reasoning... he chums with the cubes... why not fish with them too?
Says it works everytime. Worth trying if nothing else is. We'll see.
