I got this one from my friend Mark down at Lake Fork. I'll have to get him to chime in with the proportions of Kool-aid and Garlic but, he just took a 10 pound channel the other evening with it.
Cut the Bar S wieners into bite sized pieces and marinate in a solution of strawberry kool-aid and garlic powder for 30 mins to an hour.
At least this is one way to fish for catfish with a single hook as opposed to a treble (less likely to hang it up) and the wiener is more likely to stay on the hook unlike some other baits like dough or some punch baits. You can't beat that Bar S price of .88 cents either!

Hey guys I'll be glad to share the secret potion.
3 packages of hot dogs (I use the cheapest I can find usually Bar S) 2 packets strawberry Kool-aid without the sugar 2 quarts water 1 TBSP garlic powder per quart Add all the ingredients to a gallon container and cover and shake well
I also use a circle hook and roll the hot dog pieces on which allows the bait to stay on well for casting.
